The Teh'bak Nation-Story / Biography [English]:
LANGUAGE: Back in 1997 Sanjay Patel and Fabian Triponez had the idea to invent a language. As Science-Fiction-Fans they wanted the language to sound special, almost klingon-like. They then invented the Teh'bak-Language.
PRE-TEH'BAK NATION: They used the Teh'bak-Language in various video-, entertainment- and music-projects. They also used it with their Band “Dracanyotlez”. Together with the Hip-Hop-Formation “Teh'bak Machine” (Adrian Castillo and Steve “MC Igee” Beyeler) Dracanyotlez released a Track called “Draknapip” in the year 2000.
DRAKNAPIP 2000: “Draknapip” was surprisingly successful in the USA. Some US-Radiostations and US-Record Companies did contact Dracanyotlez and the Teh'bak Machine for that song, after hearing the track online. The meanwhile no more existing New York Online-Label “Cductive” took “Draknapip” in their catalogue. In 2001 Dracanyotlez broke up. But it was also the "birth" of the Teh'bak Nation.
WHO IS WHO: In 2001 the Teh'bak Nation was founded. Basically a Hip-Hop-Formation with the four main rappers: Samanoske Jehuty (MC Igee), Chihiro Shin (Adrian Castillo), Yumemaru Shang (Fabian Triponez) and Yuki (Sanjay Patel). The music is produced and composed by Fabian Triponez and Sanjay Patel in their own studio in Biel. In concert, the four Rappers are performing together with musicians (on keyboards, electronics, bass, turntables) and actors for special roles.
LIVE: The Live-Show is very unique and original. Each rapper and musician has it's own costume and role. Part of the stage-set is a large video-screen. On the video-screen are spectacular action-, fantasy- and text-animation-scenes playing to add to the visual effect of the live-appearance. Music and sound-effects, both played in movie-like Dolby Surround.
MUSIC-STYLE: Musically it is a mixture of modern Hip-Hop and Electronica. They call it “Science-Fiction-Hip-Hop”.
NOW: Now the Teh'bak Nation is working on their first album. The Teh'bak Warriors are ready to reach new battlegrounds. So be ready, wash your ears and eyes- for the Teh'bak Nation!
